Debt Boss is an educational game. It helps you picture your debts, see roughly how interest adds up, and try out payoff plans. It is not financial, legal, tax or credit advice, and it is not a debt relief or credit counseling service. Before making important money decisions, talk to a qualified professional, such as a nonprofit credit counselor.

Estimates, not statements

Payoff dates, interest totals and forecasts are simplified estimates based on what you enter. Your lenders' real figures may differ. Always check your statements.

No bank connection, no money movement

Debt Boss never connects to your bank or card accounts, never contacts your lenders and never moves money. Logging a payment in the game does not pay a real bill.

How we make money

Debt Boss is free to play and shows no ads. Today it doesn't take money from lenders, card companies or debt relief companies, and it doesn't earn commissions on financial products. If that changes, we'll say so here and label any such content clearly.

Creators, ads and AI characters

Some videos and posts about Debt Boss are made by creators we pay or by AI-generated characters that Debt Boss LLC or a related company owns. Those posts are labeled as ads or paid partnerships, and AI characters are labeled as AI-generated. They demonstrate the game or teach money basics; they don't describe personal results.

Game rewards

Valor, levels, streaks, ranks and other in-game rewards have no cash value, can't be sold or traded, and are never sold for money. There are no loot boxes or random paid rewards.
